Neil Singh and Eli Pew married at the Wedgewood Wedding Banquet in Brentwood, Calif., on Friday, October 10, 2014 in front of 120 guests. The couple chose royal blue and silver for their wedding reception colors and personalized the reception with a choreographed first dance to the song “Har Kisi Ko” by Boss featuring Nikhil D’souza. They played on the Bollywood theme, as well as drawing on Neil’s Indian background throughout the ceremony. Neil says that for them, it was “most important to customize a wedding ceremony to meet the needs of this same-sex wedding.”WATCH NEIL + ELI’S WEDDING VIDEO!Neil says the day was very joyous. “We were both nervous, but at the same time super happy to see our year and a half of planning come to fruition. We wanted all our guests to have the best of everything. We upgraded the entire day to meet that goal. Our guests were handed our signature cocktail when they entered the reception area; it was truly an awesome experience. The food was amazing: We had custom menus prepared with the venue caterer and our other two Indian caterers. People are still talking about the wedding.”Neil and Elias will honeymoon for two weeks in the summer of 2015 touring London, Paris, Prague, Berlin and Rome.   VENDORS:Wedgewood Wedding Banquet Decorator: Satvir Bhogal Catering: Madhuban Restaurant; Curryous Catering Entertainment: Azaad- UC Berkeley DancersPriest/Pundit: Dr. Shukavak DasaSarees: Roopam Sarees, Berkeley, CA Jewelry: Bombay Jewelers, Berkeley, CA Cinematography: Cinema Image-Jesse Johal ProductionsPhotography: Keith Lynds Photography Music: Riffat Sultana, Singer/Songwriter Wedding cake: TLCakes
